or how to make an arcade cabinet

This page is the "making of" of my arcade cabinet. I started to do the first plans for the cabinet somewhere in the early Fall 2008. I first postponed the build itself to the early months of 2009, and then finally got started in March.

The cabinet took almost three month's weekends to build and ended up taking a lot of money and a lot of space. Finally at the start of June I got my cabinet to its final place in my game room.

As an early tip, plan how you are going to move your cabinet if you don't build it where you end up putting it. Small elevators and large cabinets are not a good combination.
